Having walked around campus with my skirt up unknowingly the other day I can safely say that I don't suffer from any kind of Pinocchio Complex. I was thoroughly amused at my own silliness and happy to be able to entertain.
I also have lost 10 pounds now. It cost me a loss of about 0.5 degree in basal body temperature so I'll have to overeat this weekend for sure to balance things out. It feels a lot better though to shed some of that extra body fat and get more of a muscle composition.
Serious, hard core, major depression right now though. Working on that one. I have so few physical symptoms now I have to face that other stuff and it's definatley overwhelming. The best medicine so far "Old Man Markely"
After having lost my health completely in year 2000, to severe Endometrisos, I have been on an inner and outer journey trying to find my way back to health. Today I am 85% pain free, but I still have a way to go with my overall health and remaining pain issues. I hope that sharing my experiences on this blog will help others on their own health journeys.

The Pinocchio Complex
"If people did not do silly things, nothing intelligent would ever happen."
Ludwig Wittgenstein
I woke up this morning, this first day of the new year and cried because I am so overwhelmed with all the aspects of my life that suck. Or perhaps it's just cause there was a breach in my membrane, allowing the voices in. (to quote Thom Yorke) Either way, later on I found this amazing article online and it made me feel so inspired and supported. There are creative people out there who do understand where I come from, why I'm stuck, and who are trying to come up with fun, energetic solutions to solve those same problems.
I can really recommend reading it:

"Questions made to confuse, or befuddle someone. Can lead to universal implosion, or exploding of one's head."

I think I just found my power...
